Go says Advincula getting help in posting alleged anti-Duterte videos

While newly-elected Senator Bong Go does not believe in self-confessed “Bikoy” who claims to be behind the anti-Duterte videos, he is not dismissing the fact that someone is helping him.

Months before the May midterm election, Go was involved in a video posted online titled “Ang Totoong Narcolist” (The Real Narcolist) where a certain ''Bikoy'' claimed he is an alleged drug lord.

In a radio interview Thursday, Go said the same propaganda was used against President Rodrigo Duterte in 2016.

“First of all, the people know it is a black propaganda,” he said.

Go said since Peter Joenel Advincula, who says he is ''Bikoy'' cannot do those videos alone and a known critic of the administration, Senator Antonio Trillanes IV, could have used him.

“He cannot do that alone, meaning Trillanes really used him. You know that Trillanes plays dirty in politics,” he said.

“Now it's all coming back to them. Everything backfired. No one believed them and they were wiped out,” Go said.

In a press briefing, Advincula, tagged as an “information peddler” revised his story and said the narco videos were intended to malign not only Duterte but also his senatorial candidates.

In the video, ''Bikoy'' said Go who is the former special assistant to the president has a dragon tattoo in his back with a code that proves his involvement in illegal drugs.

But based on Commission on Elections official count, almost all senatorial winners were supporters of the administration and for the a first time no opposition bet won a senatorial seat.

“Anyway, the people already voted and you saw that they choose the candidates of President Duterte. You know, those who are doing evil things, surely it will all come back to them. I removed my shirt twice in the public just to prove the truth,” he said.

Go said he never inked his skin.

Go said there is no need for Advincula to go to their side but what is needed is an investigation to find who is behind those allegations.

“What is important is for the people to know the truth. They played the previous election and you know this person, he really plays dirty- at least the people found out who is really behind these Bikoy videos,” said Go.

“It’s not important anymore if he is a liar as no one is believing him. As they said, he doesn’t have credibility. Even I, I don’t believe him because he accused us… It’s very foul but what important is to find out who is behind this and why he was used or he allowed them to use him,” he added. Ella Dionisio/DMS
