Gov’t troops seize P3.4 million worth of illegal drugs in Cotabato

Government troops seized P3.4 million worth of illegal drugs in a buy-bust operation in Cotabato last Saturday.
Major Arvin Encinas, spokesman of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Western Mindanao Command (Wesmincom). said arrested was acertain Nards Udto Adtis at Purok Masagana in Barangay South Manuangan at Pigcawayan town around 6:15 pm.
"Troops further seized from Adtis boodle money worth P750,000," he said.
"Adtis and the items seized are currently in the custody of PDEA 12," he said.
Encinas said following the successful operation Lt. Gen. General Cirilito Sobejana, commander of Western Mindanao Command, assures the continuous cooperation of the military in law enforcement operations within the area.
"The military is committed in supporting all legal mechanisms to end the prevalence of illegal drugs in the country,” he added. Robina Asido/DMS
