Japan GSDF delegation visit Marines headquarters

Delegates from Japan Ground Self Defense Force (JGSDF) visited the headquarters of Philippine Marine Corps in Taguig City on Wednesday.
Capt. Felix Serapio, Philipine Marines spokesman, said the delegates were led by Major General Yasunori Morishita, Director General, Policy and Programs Department, Ground Staff Office, JGSDF.
He said Morishita and his party met the commandant of the Philippine Marine Corps, Major Gen. Alvin Parreño, during the visit.
Serapio said the JGSDF delegates met Parreño "to further discuss the bilateral activities to enhance the capabilities of both sides, sustain bilateral relations and to open an opportunity for the PMC to engage the Amphibious Rapid Deployment Brigade under the Japan Ground Self Defense Force."
