Leyte police nab suspect in killing of Batangas barangay captain

Leyte police nabbed Batangas'  most wanted person who is behind the killing of a barangay captain in Lipa City. 

Police said  a munhunt led to the arrest of Batangas' most wanted person,  Windy Lat, on Friday, 1 pm, at Cassa Isabel at Barangay Tanghas, Tolosa Leyte. 

Police Col. Edwin Quilates, the Batangas provincial director, said Lat is the  primary suspect for the killing of Marlon Luancing, barangay chairman of Antipolo del Sur last December 28, 2018. 

He is said to be the leader of  the Lat criminal group which is involved in several gun-for-hire incidents in Batangas. Cristina Eloisa Baclig/DMS
