Makati cops arrest ‘French Spiderman’ for climbing 45th floor of building

Police arrested a 56-year-old French national who tried to climb a building in Ayala Avenue Tuesday morning.
In a report, Makati police arrested Alain Robert Philippe after bystanders reported seeing him climbing the 45th floor of GT Tower at 10:15 am.
The bystanders contacted Makati Police Community Precinct 6 which sent cops to the site.
Philippe, also known as the 'French Spiderman', did not seek permission from GT Tower management to do this, police reported.
Makati police said they brought Philippe to headquarters where he was told of his constitutional rights.
They added a charge of alarm and scandal and other forms of trespass will be filed against Philippe. DMS
