Malaysian escapes from alleged captors in Laguna

A Malaysian escaped from his kidnappers allegedly belonging to a loan shark syndicate in Binan City, Laguna Monday.
Police Col. Eleazar Matta, the Laguna provincial director. said recovered was Wong Jun Chuan, 26. He slipped away from his captors in Barangay San Francisco around 2:20 p.m.
Police are hunting at least three suspects behind Wong's abduction.
According to Matta, the victim escaped by jumping from a concrete wall. He ran and sought help from a security guard in front of Southwoods Mall.
Wong told police he was kidnapped Sept. 21 at the City of Dreams in Paranaque City at around 8:30 p.m. He did not say where he was kept before he was brought to Binan.
It is unclear how much Wong owed the suspects. DMS
