Man arrested for disrespecting grandparents in Valenzuela: police

A 26-year-old man was arrested in Valenzuela City last Tuesday for disrespecting his grandparents over a pair of shoes.
A report from Valenzuela City police station said an argument between the suspects and his grandparents happened around 1:20pm inside their residence at Barangay Gen. T De Leon in Valenzuela City between the suspect and his grandparents.
This was over the shoes removed in front of the door.
The suspect got irked, causing him to utter threatening words to his grandparents.
Fearing for their lives, the grandparents sought assistance from barangay officials who also heard his threatening words.
The suspect was arrested around 3:10 pm.
He is facing cases of two counts of unjust vexation and violation of Valenzuela City Ordinance No. 158 series of 2014.
