Man shot dead inside basketball court in QC

A businessman was shot dead while he was waiting for a game to start at a covered basketball court at Barangay Veterans. Quezon City on Monday night.

Police said someone approached Jeffrey Villanueva, 38, pulled out a gun and shot him many times. Villanueva died on the spot.

Witnesses told investigators the suspect, who wore a helmet and face mask, fled.

Probers recovered five bullet casings and a deformed bullet at the crime scene. DMS
