Man shot dead inside vehicle in Cainta

One person was shot dead by two unidentified men in front of a Sea Oil gasoline station in Barangay Sto. Nino, Cainta, Rizal Tuesday morning, a police report said.

The gunman, who was with a companion on a motorcycle with unknown plate number, alighted as traffic stopped due to a red light and shot Charlie Espinosa, who was with his father on a Suzuki Ertiga Wagon.

"The backrider alighted and drew his firearm then fired it several times toward the victim," the police report said.

Espinosa was brought to the Metro Doctor's Hospital in Cainta by a concerned citizen while the suspects escaped towards Sto. Nino.

Espinosa was pronounced dead on arrival.

The police report said Espinosa was going to the Landbank branch to withdraw money when he was shot dead. DMS
