Medialdea announces promotion of five police officers

Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea announced the promotion of five police officers to the next higher rank at the Philippine National Police (PNP).
In a statement Thursday, Medialdea said Brigadier General Debold Sinas and Brigadier General Joel Napoleon Martinez Coronel, were promoted to the rank of police major general.
Sinas is the acting director of the National; Capitol Region Police Office while Coronel heads the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group.
Colonel Romeo Magpili Caramat Jr., Colonel Alessandro Castillejo Abella, and Colonel Rommel Mercado Mitra were all promoted to the rank of police brigadier general.
