Mimaropa part of the enhanced community quarantine, says Nograles

Region IV-B or Mimaropa is covered by President Rodrigo Duterte's declaration of "enhanced community quarantine" in the entire Luzon to contain the spread of coronavirus disease in the country, a Palace official said on Tuesday.
"Yes, Mimaropa is included. It's also under the enhanced community quarantine," said Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles in the "Laging Handa" briefing aired by state-run PTV4.
Mimaropa is composed of the island provinces of Mindoro Oriental and Occidental, Marinduque, Romblon, and Palawan.
Meanwhile, Duterte named Nograles as the new spokesperson of the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Disease.
Earlier, Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo said that he was the spokesman also for the IATF.
The IATF again convened on Tuesday to discuss further adjustments and other issues related to addressing the COVID-19 problem. Celerina Monte/DMS
