More buildings, establishments damaged by quake reported by NDRRMC

The number of infrastructure damaged due to the magnitude 6.3 earthquake that hit the province of North Cotabato has reached more than two thousand, the National Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) reported on Sunday morning.
As of 6 am, the NDRRMC recorded a total of 2,518 buildings, including schools, roads or bridges damaged in the Davao region, Soccsksargen, and Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BRMM) because of the quake.
A total of 2,028 of the affected infrastructures were partially damaged while 490 were totally destroyed.
The death toll rose to six after the NDRRMC said a person died in Alamada, Cotabato due to cardiac arrest.
Mark Timbal, spokesman of the Office of Civil Defense (OCD), said the regional offices of the OCD are still conducting damage assessment in affected areas.
The report also shows a total of 3,879 families or 19,395 individuals in Davao region and Soccsksargen were affected by the quake.
