Myanmar edges Philippines in SEA Games football

Myanmar edged the Philippines, 2-1, to lead the Group A football fixture in the 30th Southeast Asian Games at the Rizal Memorial Track-Football Stadium on Wednesday.
Myanmar, which drew Malaysia in its first game, has four points from a win and draw. The Philippines, which tied Cambodia in Monday's opener, has only one point out of two games.
Malaysia, which drew Myanmar on Monday, has one point. They will face the Philippines on November 29.
Despite Dennis Chung, who starred in the Philippines' tie vs Cambodia in injury time, starting, Myanmar grabbed the lead on the 16th minute through Aung Kaung Mann.
Before halftime, Justin Baas tied the game on an assist from Chung. On the 61st minute, the Philippines lost a chance to move ahead when Chung fed Baas but Baas shot wide with his left foot.
Eighteen minutes later, Win Naiung Tun sent Myanmar ahead for good. DMS
