NCRPO breaks ground on P500m medical center in Taguig

June 5, 2019

The National Capital Region Police Office ( NCRPO) on Tuesday held a groundbreaking ceremony of their P500 million medical center project in Taguig City.

The ceremony started around 11 am led by Philippine National Police chief, Police General Oscar Albayalde and NCRPO chief, Major General Guillermo Eleazar.

The PNP-NCRPO Medical Center was envisioned and initiated by Albayalde years ago when he was NCRPO head.

"Aside from police applicants, our policemen who are already in the service will truly benefit from this program as they will now be properly taken care of.

You will not have a hard time in going to Camp Crame because you now have your own medical center,” said Albayalde.

NCRPO said the project aims to provide modern and accessible health care facility for their personnel and their dependents; as well as personnel from the southern region of Luzon.

Albayalde expressed his gratitude to sponsors of various programs and projects of the PNP.

The medical center was made possible with the support from the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (Pagcor), Resorts World Foundation, the Travelers' International Hotel Group and the Alliance Global Group.

The construction of the 7,000 square meter medical facility will unfold in July 2019 and is expected to serve its beneficiaries by December 2021.

Eleazar encouraged men and women of the NCRPO to do their best in performing their duty to better serve the Filipino people as a gesture of reciprocity to their sponsors.

“Let us all look forward to a better and brighter future of the PNP as an organization that is highly capable effective, and credible,” he said. Ella Dionisio/DMS
