Eight cops were caught sleeping during their work hours on the same period.

Sinas said he ordered the chiefs of police to ask the officers were sleeping.

He said four cops were from Makati City, two in Valenzuela City and two in Caloocan City.

“The chief of police will be the one to sanction (them),” he said.

“They will be made to explain but they are still on duty,” he added.

Sinas said the cops will undergo investigation.

Overall, Sinas said the Undas 2019 was peaceful with no major incidents. .

“We are very happy and thankful particularly to the public, stakeholders, partners for a very peaceful Undas. We are very happy also that what we have planned and discussed together with all the policemen were followed,” he said. Ella Dionisio./DMS
