NCRPO waiting for Gamboa OK if they can pull out men from Batangas

The regional director of the National Capital Region Police Office ( NCRPO) on Tuesday said they are waiting if Police Lieutenant General Archie Francisco Gamboa will allow puiling out their personnel in Batangas to help in the assisting residents affected due to the activity of Taal Volcano.
“I am waiting for guidance, maybe they are only few evacuees on the area we are securing, if our augmentation of 120 vehicles can be pull out anytime this week once the national headquarters agreed,” said Police Major General Debold Sinas said in a press briefing.
NCRPO deployed around 2,000 cops in Batangas after Taal had a phreatic eruption last January 12.
Sinas also said starting Tuesday, they lowered the alert status to normal ''so that our people can also fix their personal things because during red alert, they are really always on standby.”
“But we are always on alert if personnel from Police Regional Office 4A (Calabarzon) needs vehicles,” he said.
Sinas said around 5, 853 evacuees were assisted by NCRPO personnel and they donated around P3 million for the affected residents. Ella Dionisio/DMS
