NDF consultant, wife arrested in Cavite

A police and military team arrested a peace consultant of the National Democratic Front and his wife Friday morning in Cavite.

Rey Casambre and his wife, Patricia were nabbed through two arrest warrants for murder and attempted  murder issued by Regional Trial Court 11th Judicial Branch, Branch 32 in Lupon, Davao Oriental.

The couple were on a silver Toyota Vios when they were arrested at 12:10 am at Alm Molino Boulevard, Bacoor.

"Incidental in the service of the warrant of arrest was the seizure" of a .45 caliber pistol, a fragmentation grenade, a detonating cord and several ammunition, a police report said.

Casambre is the fourth NDF consultant in the peace talks with the government that has been arrested., Earlier apprehended were Rafael Baylosis, Adelberto Silva and Vic Ladlad. DMS
