NDF peace consultant shot dead inside bus in Nueva Vizcaya

BAGUIO CITY  --  A lone gunman shot National Democratic Front (NDF) peace panel consultant Randy Malayao dead inside a bus found for Isabela on Wednesday, police said.

Malayao, 49, was sleeping inside a Victory bus while it was parked at a restaurant in Barangay Darapidad, Aritao, Nueva Vizcaya at 2: 30 am when the gunman boarded and shot him twice.

Chief Inspector Geovanni Cejes, Aritao police chief, said the gunman left on a motorcycle driven by another person.

Crime scene investigators found a bullet of still unknown caliber and two more fired cartridges. DMS
