NDRRMC reports 21 injuries and cases related to SEA Games

The National Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) recorded 21 injuries and medical cases related to the ongoing 30th Southeast Asian Games.
The NDRRMC said some these cases were recorded in the Ilocos Region where some events are being held.
It said the reported injuries and medical cases are still subject for validation by the Department of Health (DOH).
According to NDRRMC, the DOH has so far recorded a total of 125 consultations.
The report shows that 43 of those who made consultations were delegates or participants in the SEA Games.
Some of the cases consulted include upper respiratory tract infection, minor injuries due to trauma, soft tissue injuries and hypertension.
According to the NDRRMC. this year's SEA Games will be participated by around 10,934 athletes and team officials from Laos, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Timor Leste, Vietnam, Philippines, Brunei, Cambodia and Indonesia. Robina Asido/DMS
