New COVID-19 cases reach 1,772

There were 1,772 new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases, bringing total cases to 387, 161, the Department of Health (DOH) said Tuesday.
Active cases were 30, 876 cases, of which 82.5 percent were mild, 10 percent asymptomatic, 4.8 percent critical and 2.7 percent severe.
Pampanga, with 154 cases, led provinces and cities with the most new COVID-19 cases, DOH said. It was followed by Quezon City with 115, Laguna 83, Baguio City 70 and Manila 69.
Forty-nine persons died from COVID-19, raising total deaths to 7,318.
There were 153 persons who recovered from COVID-19, pushing total recoveries to 348, 967. DMS
