May 13, 2019

Tokyo--Japan maintains its policy stance of seeking to hold a summit with North Korea without preconditions, Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga suggested Monday.

"There is no change in the government's policy," Suga said at a meeting of the Committee on Audit and Oversight of Administration of the House of Representatives, the lower chamber of the Diet, Japan's parliament.
