One dead after multi-vehicle crash in Pasay City

A motorcycle driver died in a road mishap involving eight vehicles in Pasay City Sunday morning.
According to initial investigation of Pasay City Police, an Isuzu truck with body markings "LEONEL waste management" was traversing southbound along West Service Road in Barangay 201 Zone 20 when it allegedly had a mechanical malfunction at around 7:15 a.m.
As a result, the truck crashed into six parked vehicles at the right side of the road. It also bumped the front portion of a motorcycle that was travelling along the same location.
The motorcycle driver identified by the police as Joaquin Bolanos, 58 years old, was declared dead on arrival in a nearby hospital due to multiple severe injuries caused by the clash.
