P3.4 million worth of illegal drugs confiscated from couriers in Zamboanga City

Authorities on Sunday confiscated P3.4 million worth of illegal drugs from two alleged drug couriers in a buy-bust operation in Zamboanga City.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) identified the suspects as Alner Andao and Aljimar Jimla.
Suspects were arrested in a joint operation at a fast-food chain in Barangay Divisoria, Zamboanga City around 1 pm after selling suspected shabu to a PDEA agent who pretended to be a buyer.
Confiscated evidence will be turned over to PDEA laboratory in Zamboanga Peninsula for examination while the arrested suspects will face charges for violation of Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. Ella Dionisio/DMS
