P42 million worth of illegal drugs seized in QC, Malabon buy-bust

More than P42 million worth of illegal drugs were seized in different buy-bust operations in Quezon City and Malabon City last Sunday.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) said the first operation was conducted around 1:45 am with the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) at Mindanao Avenue, Barangay Bagong Pag-Asa which resulted in the arrest of three alleged drug suspects.
Confiscated from them were two plastic packs of suspected shabu weighing around one kilogram amounting to P6.8 million.
Around 8am, a follow-up operation was conducted at Rockville Subdivision, San Bartolome in Novaliches, Quezon City that resulted in the arrest of four alleged drug suppliers where P8.840 million worth of illegal drugs were confiscated, including assorted firearms and explosive devices.
The last operation was conducted around 6:30 pm at Road 25, Dampalit, Malabon City where a Chinese drug suspect was arrested and P27.2 million worth of illegal drugs were confiscated.
