August inflation at three-year low of 1.7%

Inflation last August eased to a three-year low of 1.7 percent from July’s 2.4 percent, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) said Thursday. This is the lowest since August 2016 which reached 1.3 percent. The year-to-date inflation is at three percent.
