Palace condemns explosion in Sultan Kudarat

Malacanang condemned on Thursday the explosion in Sultan Kudarat where 18 people were injured.
In a statement, Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo said investigation has been ongoing.
"The Palace deplores yesterday afternoon’s explosion in Isulan, Sultan Kudarat which wounded scores of individuals who are currently receiving medical treatment," he said.
Citing the report from the Philippine National Police, he said extortion was behind this.
"While we commit to bring the perpetrators to justice, we also continue to advise the public to remain vigilant in their surroundings and not to be hesitant in reporting any unusual behavior that they may observe to proper authorities," Panelo said.
