Palace confirms GSIS chief’s resignation

Malacanang confirmed on Thursday the resignation of Govnment Service Insurance System President and General Manager Jesus Clint Aranas.
In a statement, Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo said President Rodrigo Duterte has accepted Aranas' resignation "without any reason nor any comment."
"The President is now looking for a replacement for the vacated post," he said.
The Philippine Daily Inquirer, citing source, reported earlier that Aranas quit due to "personal reasons."
But another source, it said that the resignation was due to his clash with tycoon Enrique Razon and Finance Secretary Carlos G. Dominguez III. Celerina Monte/DMS
