Palace lauds Cabinet members’ “very good” satisfaction rating
July 25, 2019
Malacanang hailed on Thursday the "very good" satisfaction rating of President Rodrigo Duterte's Cabinet, the "first in recent memory."
In a statement, Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo said the Palace is pleased to learn about the net satisfaction rating of the Cabinet, which rose from "good" at +44 in March to "very good" in June of this year with a new record-high of +51 based on the Social Weather Stations survey.
"The Office of the President attributes this to the hard work and dedication of the members of the President's Cabinet, as well as to the support being rendered by their respective staff, in undertaking actions to fulfill the directives of the Chief Executive," he said.
Panelo said the survey is important for the Cabinet members "as it is demonstrative of the sentiment of the Filipino people, indicating that they are starting to experience a working government that addresses their welfare."
The survey, which was conducted by SWS from June 22-26, is the "first time that a Cabinet received a 'very good' rating in recent memory," said Panelo, also chief presidential legal counsel.
As the Palace congratulates the individuals of the President's official family, he said the Filipino's favourable satisfaction on their work should "propel" them to continue performing their jobs with dedication and efficiency as they deliver genuine change for the benefit of the public during the remainder of Duterte's term.
