Palace says De Lima hallucinating for asking Duterte to take a leave

Malacañang slammed on Thursday detained Senator Leila de Lima, saying she must be ''hallucinating for asking President Rodrigo Duterte to go on leave and temporarily hand over the presidecy to Vice President Leni Robredo.
"De Lima must be hallucinating," said Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo in a statement.
He said this could be the result of her incarceration. De Lima has been facing charges for alleged involvement in illegal drug trade inside the national penitentiary when she was the Justice secretray in the previous admimistration. She denied the allegation.
"I pity her. Im praying for her health," Panelo said.
De Lima has urged Duterte to officially declare his inability to run the country.
She has dared Duterte to transnsmit to the President of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives his written declaration that he was anable to discharge the powers and duties of his office and allow the Office of the Vice President and Robredo to take over. Celerina Monte/DMS
