PCG rescues more than 100 passengers of motorboat off Roxas City

The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) rescued more than 100 passengers off the waters of Roxas City on Monday.
The personnel of PCG Station in Capizr with the PCG Sub-Station in Olotayan, rescued 127 passengers and 10 crew onboard motorboat Aquamaster.
The distressed motorboat was approximately five nautical miles northwest off Olotayan Island, Roxas City when passengers and crew were rescued.
"The 137 rescued individuals, who were all in good condition, were safely brought at the Culasi Port," the PCG said.
The vessel was on its way to Masbate when its crew lost control of the boat's rudder.
"Motorboat Aquamaster departed from Culasi Port, Roxas City going to Mandaon, Masbate when it encountered steering casualty, a situation wherein the motorbanca’s rudder lost control," said PCG. Robina Asido/DMS
