PCG rescues Vietnamese in Tawi-tawi

The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Station in Western Tawi-Tawi assisted an injured Vietnamese national off the waters of Tawi-tawi last Tuesday.
The PCG identified the Vietnamese as Dang Canh, a crew of a Vietnamese fishing vessel with bow number KG91679TS.
The PCG said the vessel was fishing in the area when the victim was assisted by Coast Guard personnel.
"Mr. Dang Canh was found with a broken right limb and leg during the vessel inspection conducted by PCG Station in Western Tawi-Tawi," the report said.
PCG coordinated with the Philippine Air Force (PAF) to transport Canh to the nearest medical facility, it said. Robina Asido/DMS
