PCG starts implementing precautions vs COVID-19

The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) National Headquarters in Port Area, Manila has begun implementing precautionary measures amid increasing number of cases of 2019 Novel Coronavirus in the country.
PCG personnel, officers and visitors who were entering headquarters should observe protocols set by the Department of Health (DOH).`
"In observance of protocols set by the DOH, thermal scanning for body temperature is being done to all persons going in and out of the headquarters. Hand sanitizers are also widely available at the entrance and concerned offices," the PCG said.
PCG said "visitors who are not wearing face masks are temporarily prohibited to enter the vicinity."
The PCG started to implement the precautionary measures on Wednesday, after President Rodrigo Duterte declared a State of Public Health Emergency. Robina Asido/DMS
