PDEA seizes around P13.6 million of illegal drugs in Imus

Around P13.6 million of illegal drugs were seized by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in a buy-bust operation in Imus City, Cavite Monday afternoon.
According to Public Information Officer III Blane Canlas of PDEA-Regional Office, three suspects were arrested by operatives of Manila District Office and Southern District Office of PDEA Regional Office-NCR around 3:30 pm along Emilio Aguinaldo Highway, Anabu II-C, Imus City, Cavite after transacting with an undercover PDEA agent.
Found in their possession were two transparent plastic packs containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu, weighing around two kilograms and has a standard drug price of P13,600,000.
Seized illegal drugs were turned over to the PDEA Laboratory Service for appropriate of qualitative and quantitative analysis.
Suspects will face criminal charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. Ella Dionisio/DMS
