PDEA seizes P6.8 million of shabu in tea bags in Manila

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency ( PDEA) on Monday seized P6.8 million worth of shabu sealed in tea bags in a buy-bust operation in Manila.
Derrick Carreon, PDEA spokesperson, said around 5:30 pm, joint elements of the PDEA Calabarzon region conducted an entrapment operation against pushers inside a hotel located at Barangay 669, District 5, Manila.
Suspects identified as Talicop Saipoding Pumbaya, Mahdi Sodeit Salic, Maromaya Johary Mamocarao and Sultan Saipoden Alnao were arrested after receiving money in exchange for around one kilogram of shabu placed inside an unsealed transparent plastic bag and Guanyinwang Tea Packaging.
Its street value was estimated at P6,800,000.
Arrested alleged drug personalities will be charged for violations of Section 5 or sale of dangerous drugs and Section 26 or attempt or conspiracy in Article II of Republic Act 9165 or The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
