PDEA seizes P68m of illegal drugs from two foreigners

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) on Tuesday seized P68 million worth of illegal drugs from two foreigners in a buy-bust operation in Quezon City.
According to PDEA Director General Aaron Aquino, the operation took place around 9:30 am at Roces Avenue, Barangay Paligsahan.
Aquino said the operation resulted in the arrest of Lawrence Ikegwuruka, 27, Nigerian and Michella Augustine, 23, Malagasy.
Confiscated from the suspects were around 10 kilograms of shabu with estimated value of P68,000,000.
The said suspects will be facing charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. Ella Dionisio/DMS
