PDEA seizes total of seven million pesos worth of shabu in two buy-bust operations

More than seven million worth of shabu were seized in separate buy bust operations by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) on Sunday.
According to PDEA, the first buy-bust operation took place along P. Urdaneta Road, Barangay Guadalupe, Makati City at 9:30 am.
PDEA personnel recovered 500 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated value of P3.4 million and P800,000 marked money from suspect Susan Mata.
PDEA special enforcement service Director Levi Ortiz, in a news report, said the suspect originally lived in Aparri and went to Metro Manila to sell drugs.
The suspect said she was asked by her husband, Servillo Mata Jr., to sell drugs which came from a Taiwanese drug supplier.
Authorities are hunting down Mata while the suspect will be charged with violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
The other buy bust was in Quiapo at 8:30 pm. PDEA personnel seized half a kilo of shabu packed in a tinfoil tea bag worth P3.4 million from 18-year-old suspect Alanie Bayantol Sacampong.
According to reports, the suspect said she is from Marawi and has been staying in Manila for two months. She allegedly received P5,000 to deliver shabu. DMS
