PNP conducting parallel probe on ”Bikoy”
May 3, 2019
The Philippine National Police ( PNP) on Friday said they are conducting parallel investigation against other persons behind the "Bikoy" videos.
Police Colonel Banac, the PNP spokesperson, said they are coordinating with the National Bureau of Investigation ( NBI) which arrested Rodel Jayme, alleged uploader of the videos.
"The PNP and NBI are working together in all investigation. We are partner agencies in investigating and solving crimes," Banac said.
Banac said it just happened that the NBI is the first who implemented warrant against the uploader.
"We are conducting parallel investigation that's why we are continuously monitoring other possible personalities behind the video," he said.
NBI on Wednesday arrested the alleged uploader and the web administrator of a website sharing the "Totoong Narcolist (Real Narcolist)" videos.
The PNP said they are ready to share information with the NBI with regards to the incident.
''Bikoy'' is the one who is saying in the videos pointing at President Rodrigo Duterte, his family and those close to him to be the country's alleged drug lords. Ella Dionisio/DMS
