PNP names new heads of Northern Mindanao police, Northern Police District
October 30, 2019
The officer-in-charge of the Philippine National Police (PNP) on Wednesday designated two police generals to head the Northern Mindanao Police office and Northern Police District (NPD).
In a statement, Police Lieutenant General Archie Francisco Gamboa said Police Brigadier General Rolando Anduyan is named as acting regional director of Police Regional Office 10 replacing Police Brigadier General Rafael Santiago.
Santiago was relieved last Wednesday over his previous administrative case.
Police Brigadier General Ronaldo Genaro Ylagan is designated as the acting NPD director.
Gamboa installed Police Colonel Danilo Macerin as acting chief regional staff of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO).
Gamboa said the latest rounds of reorganization occupying key positions are part of continuing reforms.
“This move sustains our campaign to reform the entire organization, as well as our drive against illegal drugs, criminality, and lawless violence,” he added.
Gamboa recently conducted a major revamp in the PNP where 21 police officials were reshuffle in different key positions. Ella Dionisio/DMS
