PNP orders regional directors in Mindanao to help quake victims

The Philippine National Police ( PNP) directed all regional directors in Mindanao to give utmost priority in providing assistance following a 6.5 earthquake that shook Cotabato Wednesday morning.
This was the third quake to hit the area in two weeks.
“PNP OIC, Police Lieutenant General Archie Francisco Gamboa has directed all regional directors of Police Regional Offices in Mindanao to give utmost priority in mobilizing all their respective units, personnel and available resources to respond to calls for help, provide necessary assistance in coordination with their respective Local Government Units and Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council’s (RDRRMC), and prevent occurrence of crimes,” said Police Brigadier General Bernard Banac, the PNP spokesman.
In the midst of Undas 2019 security coverage, the PNP assures the public that they will be there to ensure their safety.
