June 25, 2019
The Philippine National Police ( PNP) is still waiting for radio broadcaster Erwin Tulfo to return his firearms after his license to operate and possess expired.
In a press briefing, Police Colonel Bernard Banac, PNP spokesperson, said the Firearms and Explosives Office ( FEO) was not informed if Tulfo returned to the country.
"We are just waiting for the decision of the leadership of FEO ( Firearms and Explosives Office)," he said.
"Just like what we earlier said, the PNP will not hesitate in doing further police action if the camp of Mr. Erwin Tulfo did not respond," he added.
Banac said Tulfo has no authorization over his firearms after his license expired last March. Ella Dionisio/DMS
