PNP to maintain peace and security during coming SEA Games
August 30, 2019
The Philippine National Police ( PNP) on Friday said they will provide enough manpower to help in maintaining peace and security for the coming Southeast Asian Games.
In an interview with reporters in Pampanga, Police General Oscar Albayalde said they will provide whatever they have such as communication, manpower and information gathering.
"Our capability on information gathering (will help) if their are people who will sabotage and take advantage of the event," said Albayalde.
"I think the Police Regional Office 3 ( Central Luzon) will deploy thousands of personnel for the SEA Games," he added.
The 30th SEA Games is hosted by the Philippines and will begin on November 30. Most of the venues are located in Clark. Ella Dionisio/DMS
