PNP will find out why Nova Parojinog was allowed to visit brother in 2018

The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Tuesday said they will investigate their custodial center after the Quezon City Regional Trial Court (RTC) ordered an explanation why Nova Princess Parojinog was allowed to leave Camp Crame last November 2018 without seeking permission from the court.
“We will look into that because when I was the chief directorial staff (TCDS) it is only the TCDS who can actually allow visitors. Actually also the two deputy and the chief (PNP are allowed),” said Police Lieutenant General Archie Francisco Gamboa, PNP officer-in-charge, in a press briefing.
Gamboa said detained personalities can leave the custodial center if there is a court order.
“It is not allowed at the discretion of custodial officers. So we will investigate on that case,” he said.
On Monday, the QC RTC Branch 228 Judge Mitushealla Manzanero-Casiño gave the PNP Custodial Center jail warden and the lawyers five days to explain why Parojinog left to visit her brother Reynaldo Parojinog, Jr. at Camp Bagong Diwa last November 12, 2018 when no motion seeking permission from the court was filed.
