Poe continues to lead Pulse Asia senatorial survey

Re-electionist Senator Grace Poe and six incumbent members of Congress lead the top 16 of Pulse Asia's senatorial preference survey in March for the May 2019 mid-term elections.
According to Pulse Asia Research's survey released on Thursday, Poe continues to lead with a 72.6 percent voter preference. Senator Cynthia Villar remains second with 63.7 percent.
Senator Juan Edgardo Angara received 58.5 percent, pulling him up to third from fifth place last month.
Former Special Assistant to the President Christopher ''Bong'' Go, has 55.7 percent from 53 percent preference.
Taguig City Rep. Pia Cayetano got 52.2 percent followed by former Senator Lito Lapid who dropped from last month's share of third to seventh to fifth to eighth place with 48.4 percent.
Senator Nancy Binay has 45.5 percent followed by former Philippine National Police chief Ronald Bato dela Rosa with 44.8 percent. Former Senator Ramon Revilla Jr. is tied for seventh to 10th spot at 40.9 percent.
Ilocos Norte Governor Imee Marcos slightly climbed up to 9th to 12th spot with 39 percent. In 10th to 16th place are former presidential political adviser Francis Tolentino with 35.7 percent and former Senator Jinggoy Estrada with 35.2 percent.
Senator Bam Aquino got 33,8 percent, followed by former Senate President Koko Pimentel with 33.6 percent and former Senator Serge Osmena with 33 percent.
Former Senator Mar Roxas, falling from eighth to 12th place, had 31.3 support.
Pulse Asia Research used face-to-face interviews with a sample of 1,800 adults. It has a ±2.3 percent error margin at the 95 percent confidence level. Cristina Eloisa Baclig/DMS
