Police arrest ‘ Angkas’ driver, seized suspected shabu in QC

Police arrested a driver of a motorcycle drive hailing application and confiscated around P61,200 worth of suspected shabu during a buy-bust operation in Cubao, Quezon City. 

According to Police Brigadier General Joselito Esquivel Jr., Quezon City  district director, around 5:40 pm on Friday, police arrested 'Angkas' motorcycle driver Melvin Manuel, 46.

Manuel was nabbed in front of house number 9 along Saint Mary Street. 

Authorities seized nine grams of shabu, a cellular phone, a Yamaha Mio Soul 125 motorcycle and buy-bust money from Manuel.  

"Manuel is a known drug pusher operating within the area of Brgy. Del Monte, Brgy. E. Rodriguez and nearby barangays," Esquivel said.  Cristina Eloisa Baclig/DMS
