Police arrest three, seize P3.8 million worth of shabu in Manila

Police seized P3.8 million worth of shabu and arrested three suspected drug trafficker in Vito Cruz, Manila.
Police Major General Guillermo Eleazar, head of the National Capitol Region Police Office ( NCRPO), identified the suspects as Rudy Kidlat alias "Kidlat," Mark Anthony Alcantara alias "Maki," and Rona Valenzuella.
Eleazar said the three suspects work as couriers of a criminal gang related to a group of Chinese and Muslims involved in an illegal drug trade in Metro Manila and Cavite.
Authorities seized one kilo of shabu approximately worth P6.8 million, ten bundles of one-thousand peso boodle money equivalent to one million pesos, one weighing scale, and one unit of red Suzuki Swift which was used to transport illegal drugs.
The nabbed suspects underwent laboratory and drug testing. They will face cases for violating Section 5, 11 and 26 Article 2 of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Eleazar said authorities are doing their best in continuing the fight against illegal drugs.
"The whole NCRPO is doing their best to establish a drug-free country, particularly in our region, by elimination illegal drugs which is accordingly to the orders of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte and Police General Oscar Albayalde," Eleazar said. Cristina Eloisa Baclig/DMS
