Police rescue 35 alleged Chinese sex workers in Makati hotel

Some 35 alleged Chinese sex workers were rescued in an entrapment operation inside a hotel in Makati City on Monday.
The Makati City Police Station, in a report, said the operation transpired around 11 pm at three areas inside MAXX Hotel located at Makati Avenue, Barangay Poblaciony.
The operation stemmed after they received information regarding illegal sexual activities involving Asian and Chinese looking females.
Police Colonel Rogelio Simon, chief of Makati CPS, said customers could avail of the service through online transactions.
"The price is around P20,000 plus the hotel fee," Simon said.
Though the raided hotel is a legitimate business, he said it became a prostitution den.
Authorities found and recovered assorted items used.
