Policeman killed in attack by alleged NPAs in Cotabato

One policeman was killed while seven were injured in a roadside bomb explosion in North Cotabato Monday evening.
A report from the Cotabato Police Provincial Office said the fatality was PO1 Christopher Anadon.
After the bomb exploded along Purok 4- Kabisig Brgy. Poblacion in Magpet around 6 pm, gunfire from suspected New People’s Army (NPAs) erupted, prompting police to retaliate. Their vehicles sustained major damage.
The wounded cops preferred to stay at their station aside from a certain PO1 Stephen Batoon who was brought to a hospital with Anadon who was declared dead by the attending physician.
