PSE index cuts losses

The key Philippine share index cut its losses but still ended lower on Monday.
The Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) index closed at 4,743.37, down 35.29. The index opened down 251.47 points.
In the broader market, there were 133 losers, 55 gainers and 35 unchanged.
Volume reached 413.3 million worth P5.68 billion from Friday's 659.47 million valued at P6.6 billion.
Most active shares were led by Ayala Land, up P1.20 to P27.50; BDO, down P2.30 to P94.70; SM Prime, down P1.30 to P24.70 and SM Investment Corp., up P24.70 to P746. DMS
