PSE index ends flat, peso declines vs US dollar

The main Philippine share index finished flat on Tuesday.
The peso ended at P50.645 against the US dollar from P50.57 on Monday. Volume at the foreign exchange portal of the Bankers Association of the Philippines reached $933.9 million from $971.5 million on the previous session.
The Philippine Stock Exchange ( PSE) index ended at 7.322.89, down 3.96 points.
Volume reached 503.9 million shares worth P5.33 billion from Monday's 782.60 million shares valued at P7,84 billion.
Most active shares were led by SM Prime, unchanged at P41,70; Ayala Land, up 10 centavos to P41.10 and ICTSI, up P3.60 to P119.60. DMS
