PSE index ends lower after three-day gain

The main Philippine share index ended lower after three days of gains on Friday.
The peso settled at P50.64 against the US dollar from P50.585 on Thursday. Volume at the foreign exchange portal of the Bankers Association of the Philippines reached $1.389 billion from $945.45 million on Thursday
The Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) index finished at 6,770.38 points, down 114.39 points. In the broader market, there were 138 losers, 45 gainers and 38 unchanged.
Volume reached 632.65 million shares valued at P5.88 billion from Thursday's 978.55 million shares worth P6,02 billion.
Most traded shares were led byMetro Pacific, up 18 centavos to P3.62; Ayala Land, down 80 centavos to P39.60; ICTSI, down P3.10 to P102 and PLDT, up P16 to P1,059. DMS
